BEAR DIVIDE FANTASY FOOTBALL LEAGUE


LEAGUE The league will consist of 8 teams. The teams will be as follows… Team 1 - Team 2 - Team 3 - Team 4 - Team 5 - Team 6 - Team 7 - Team 8 -

PLAYER ALLOCATION
Each team will consist of the following players…

Quarterbacks 2
Running Backs 3
Receivers 3
Tight Ends 2
Kickers 2
Defense/Special Teams 2

For each game a roster must be submitted to the commissioner consisting of the following…

Quarterbacks 1
Running Backs 2
Receivers 2
Tight Ends 1
Kickers 1
Defense/Special Teams 1

All lineups must be submitted to commissioner before the first scheduled game of the week (Sun. Sat. Thurs.).
Failure to do so will result in the lineup from the previous week being used regardless of any bye that might
occur on the roster.

TRADES AND TRADE DAY
Trade day will be the Thursday of each week. A time will be determined on each trade day taking into account the circumstances of the day. The time of the meeting will be made known to each owner as soon as possible, sometimes with only a few minutes notice. Trade selection will be as follows…
Teams with the worst record will go first followed by the team with second worst record until all owners have exercised trade options for the week.
Trades will consist of the following…

Injury replacement – An owner can replace an injured player at no cost but must either drop replacement player prior to injured players return or the replacement player will be added to the owners roster and a Free. Agent fee will be charged.
Free Agent – An owner can replace any player on their roster with a non-roster player from the league on
Trade day. All free agent signings become final at the end of the meeting. Cost for free agent signing $5.00.
Owner to Owner - Any two owners can effect a trade between teams on trade day after all free agency trades are completed. All trades must be announced at the meeting and are subject to the approval of a simple majority of the non-trading owners. In the event of a tie in the voting the commish will make the final vote. ( in some cases he will be voting twice, if he is involved in the trade the asst. Commish will vote).
Cost for owner to owner trade $3.00 per team.

DRAFT
The draft will be held at to be determined time and location. It will be held at the end of the exhibition season and before the start of the regular season.
Draft will be snake type..i.e. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,1,2,3,4 etc.
Draft order will be determined by lotto sometime before the draft.
Owners will be allowed 1 min for each selection in rounds 1 and 2… 30 seconds for rounds 3-12. Failure to
complete a selection in the allowed time frame will result in the forfeiture of the selection until the end of the draft.

REGULAR SEASON AND PLAYOFFS
The regular season will consist of 14 games. Each team will play every other team twice. The regular
season will coincide with the first 14 weeks of the football season with the playoffs beginning in week 15.
Playoffs start on week 15 and conclude with the championship on week 16.
First round playoffs week 15…
The first, second, and third place teams by won/loss record will participate as well as a wild card team.
The wild card team will be the team with the most points that is not already in the playoffs. Seedings will be

Team with second most points - #2 seed
Team with third most points - #3 seed
Wildcard team - #4 seed

The #1 seed will play the #4 seed and the #2 seed will play the #3 seed in the first round.
The championship will be held on week 16 between the winners of the first round playoff games.

Note : Rushing and receiving yards will be computed to the nearest tenth…..i.e. 49 yards equals 4.9 points. Passing yards will also be rounded to the nearest tenth….i.e. 215 yards passing equals 10.8 points. Quarterback rushing yards are computed as rushing yards.

STATISTICS FOR LEAGUE Stats will be taken from the internet and newspapers. If discrepancies exist between any given media outlet then the newspaper will be the primary source. ALWAYS REMEMBER THE GOLDEN RULE…."DON'T PISS OFF THE COMMISH" (this shall, from here on, be called the Pontes Rule)
